Big Bear lake engagement session

Rachel (she has a cool name, right?;) and Garret came to me looking for engagement photos that showcase beautiful California trees and greenery. Luckily, we don’t have to drive too far to find some! I love living so close to beaches, mountains, trees, and desert. You want it? We have it. We decided on Big Bear Lake for their gorgeous forest hikes and scenery. When Rachel told me they were thinking of including their German Shepard pup, Luna, I just about died with excitement! Luna was definitely in her element, and for once I wasn’t a third wheel ;)

And then we ventured down a random street and wiggled our way onto lake front property. You guys, the view was gorgeous and we were just in time to see the sun sink below the mountains! Big bear lake is so magical! I would love to come back and explore further, I highly recommend to anyone looking for some California greenery in their engagement photos.
